Course description
The philosophy and methods of Montessori education and curriculum development appropriate to the child of six to nine years are studied, as well as the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of this age group. The practical demonstration and use of Montessori educational materials are expanded upon and other lecture subjects include art and music.
Please note, all students must complete twenty hours observation during each year of this course. At the end of this course a Diploma is awarded to students who have been successful in both written and practical examinations.
