The Masters of Science in Supply Chain Operations provides a stimulating on-line collaborative course that aims to augment the capability of supply chain practitioners.

This course will create graduates who will be equipped to eliminate supply chain inefficiencies to enable their organisations become more competitive, agile and profitable. End-to-end visibility of the full supply chain is key to supply chain return on investment (ROI). In this Online Masters, students learn and can immediately apply best practice supply chain management skills through every link in the chain.

The course is designed for those who are engaged in supply chain activities at the strategic level of their organistation and who intend to use quantitative data tools and methodologies to manage risk and implement improvement opportunities.  Also for those  who want to develop enhanced analytical, modelling and diagnostic capabilities for maximising operational performance within supply chains.

Participants will learn to:

  • Recognise the strategic contribution of supply chain management to organisational performance.
  • Assess the impact that supply chain management has on the key performance indicators of an
    organisation.
  • Evaluate the impact of upstream and downstream entities on supply chain performance. Influence
    performance of upstream and downstream factors to maximise value within the organisation’s supply chain.
  • Diagnose the priority improvement opportunities within the supply chain optimising the trade-offs.

Entry Requirements:

Course participants should hold a NFQ level-8, honours degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification and have at least five years of relevant work experience. Applicants must also satisfy the English Language Requirements of the University.

The University reserves the right to shortlist and interview applicants as deemed necessary Where an applicant does not meet the entry requirements above, an offer of a place on the course may be made in exceptional circumstances, where the candidate provides a portfolio of evidence to support prior learning, and the application of learning or competence in the area.
