Leadership and Management – Level 6 – Tutor Delivered

The Level 5 Award and Level 6 Certificate in Sustainable Leadership and Management are ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing their abilities. They particularly support practicing team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people though organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures.

The structure of the Leadership and Management programme in terms of time input is:

Level 5 Award In Leadership and Management – this is done over 4 evenings in total – one evening per week; and
Level 6 Certificate In Leadership and Management – this is done over an additional 7 evenings after the Level 5 Award

Managing Workplace Projects
Motivating People in the Workplace
Delegating Authority in the Workplace
Developing Individual Mental Toughness

The courses are accredited by the Awarding Body for Sustainable Development – ABSD Awards

ABSD Awards is the leading education and awarding body based in London and is internationally recognised.

No Examinations

One of the benefits of these courses is that there are no written examinations. Instead participants complete assignments related to your practical everyday work.

Tutorial support is provided as part of the course.

Course Duration and Entry

The Award course runs for one evening per week for 4 evenings

The Certificate takes an additional x 9 evenings after the Award.

Delivery and Times

The Award and Certificate courses course run for one evening per week from 6:30 pm to 10:00pm.

Certificate holders are eligible to progress to the Level 8 Diploma in Management which runs for 11 Saturdays – 1 per month for a year excluding August.

Each Saturday runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with a break at lunchtime.

The course is delivered online in real time by the tutors.
