Entry Requirements
Learners must hold a QQI Level 5 award in Healthcare Support 5M4339, Nursing Studies 5M4349, Health Service Skills 5M3782, or equivalent, and have a minimum of one year’s experience in a healthcare setting. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language.

Work Experience Requirements
Learners must complete 120 hours of work placement in a suitable healthcare environment such as a hospital, nursing home, or day service centre. If already employed in a healthcare role, tasks may be carried out in the current workplace.
