The ITEC/VTCT level 4 accredited teaching qualifications are recognised all over the world and prepare Trainee Tutors to teach and assess in a wide range of contexts.

The courses are open to anyone interested in teaching adults in PLC’s, ETB’s and Private Colleges and not limited to the Hair, Beauty and Make up Industry. Once you have completed this course you can teach adults in any area in which you already have a professional qualification. This Teaching and Assessing qualification is recognised on the NFC (National Framework of Qualifications) in Ireland.

The field of teaching an assessing are constantly changing and there are many opportunities available upon completion of our course.

To work as a trainer in any private college
To work as a trainer for a brand or distributor
To teach adult learners
To work overseas in educational schools and colleges
To work for Colour/Cosmetics/Skincare companies delivering training to Salons and Spas.

Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School is committed to producing well rounded teachers and assessors who are prepared to teach and assess upon graduation. The focus of our courses is on gaining practical teaching experience and we believe that any material produced on the course will be used in teaching practice e.g. in producing lessons plans. You will gain confidence through a series of ‘micro-teaching’ lessons on your subject area that you will deliver throughout the duration of the course and feedback will be given.

Last March, we changed this course to a virtual classroom with a live Tutor and the results and feedback from students has been excellent, no more travelling to and from College and more importantly we are hearing that most people find it easier to concentrate.

So if you are living in Ireland or in fact any where that recognises the ITEC Teaching qualification, you can now join this course.

All you need is dedication and enthusiasm as this is not an easy course, it is a Level 4 which is the equivalent to first year of a Degree. IT SKills are neccessary to attend and also to be a Teacher in the new environment of learning that COVID has presented.

The course fees are 2615.00 for the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

This is now funded through Image Skillnet which reduces the fees to 1857.00 ( Full payment required by 2nd of April – 500.00 to secure your place on the course.

IT Skills are required as well as a Laptop and access to a Printer for the duration of the course

Start date is Sunday 28th of March 2021 for 9 Months, 1 Sunday per month 10 – 4 Virtual class through zoom 90% attendance is required
