Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Early Childhood Studies
The programme will educate students in the specific areas of education, health, management and research in children aged 0-5 years. As a graduate of this programme you will have the skills to write early childhood programmes, care for children and enhance the education and health of children with regular development, as well as those with physical and intellectual disabilities. You will also learn to evaluate the contribution of research to the areas of early years’ education, health and management.

A minimum of six passes in the Leaving Certificate (including Mathematics and either English or Irish), with at least Grade C3 in two Higher Level papers, together with at least Grade D3 in four Ordinary Level papers plus a minimum of 300 points.
Because of the work placement on this programme, applicants must successfully pass Garda /Police vetting for all jurisdictions where the student was /is resident.
