College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Celtic Studies

The Arts faculty offers both highly flexible joint-honours programmes and specialized denominated degrees. Consequently, students can tailor their education to their specific career goals.

GY101: Bachelor of Arts (Joint-Honours)

This is the university’s flagship, highly flexible Arts degree. In First Year, students choose three subjects from the timetable groupings below (selecting only one subject per group). Subsequently, in Second and Final Year, students take two subjects to degree level.

  • Group 1: Archaeology; French; Mathematics.
  • Group 2: Celtic Civilisation; Law; Psychology.
  • Group 3: Classics; Geography; German; Modern Irish Culture Studies; Léann na Cumarsáide.
