Missed First Round Offer

- Hi my son didnt get one of the courses he wanted in the first offers. Is he obliged to take one of the offers made or should he wait for the second round. What are the implications? Thanks - Peter

- Hi Peter, He can accept one of the offers on the first round of offers if he is happy to do this course. Then if he gets a better offer in the second round he can take this offer instead. There are also other routes through further education to get into his chosen field of study if he is not happy with any of the offers. For example doing a QQI level 6 advanced certificate could lead an alternative route into college (or employment) depending on the subject he wishes to study.
