The Gateway Project is a community education and training initiative based in Dublin 7. It supports women who wish to return to learning, build new skills, or progress towards employment or further education. The programme is designed for those who may have experienced barriers such as limited formal education, long‑term unemployment, or social disadvantage. Training is delivered in a supportive, community setting with a focus on confidence‑building and practical progression routes.

Gateway offers a range of QQI‑accredited modules from Levels 3 to 5, including General Learning, Healthcare, Childcare, and core skills such as communications and IT. Participants also complete short industry‑focused certificates such as Manual Handling, First Aid, Fire Safety, and Safeguarding. The programme combines classroom learning with personal development and one‑to‑one guidance to help learners identify suitable next steps.
