Entry Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
• Minimum age of 17 years
• Good standard of English
• Basic computer literacy skills

Applicants intending to use previously achieved QQI modules towards certification must provide evidence that these awards were achieved within the previous five years.
Learners should also consider how they will complete the required work placement if not currently working within an appropriate setting.
Assessment
Assessment is completed through continuous assessment throughout the programme.

Learners are responsible for securing their own placement.
Garda Vetting
Garda Vetting is required before commencing work placement.
Learners who have lived outside Ireland for more than six months will also be required to provide Police Clearance Certification for relevant international addresses.
