National Qualification in Strength and Conditioning Training

Course description

This bespoke NTC strength and conditioning programme is uniquely designed specifically for exercise professionals and personal trainers working in the commercial health fitness industry. New knowledge gained during the 4 days of intensive training and upskilling will broaden learners employment opportunities. With the busy exercise professional in mind  this course is structured over one month to allow ample time in between for self directed learning and practice.  Students will have access to the NTC student online resource area to view videos, access notes which will provide the support necessary for a blended learning approach.

The content of this course will focus on key practical coaching skills, providing you with the ability to add essential strength and conditioning skills to  expand your current role as a personal trainer and exercise coach.

The National Qualification in Strength and Conditioning is open to application from fitness professionals who hold a recognised, valid and current primary fitness instructor qualification that is accredited or mapped at EQF Level 3 or higher.

Not all primary fitness instructor qualifications meet the minimum standard required. If your primary fitness instructor qualification does not meet the requirements NTC will be unable to award a certificate for this programme even if you have completed it so if you are in any doubt whether your qualification meets the requirements please submit a copy of your primary fitness instructor qualification at least two weeks prior to the start date or contact the NTC prior to enrollment.

The standard cost of the Strength and Conditioning for Personal Trainers course is €525.00. The discounted rate for graduates of the National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training is €495.00.
