Course description
The Level 6 (UK) /Level 8 (IRL) Unit Certificate in Critical Thinking and Research Skills in Management is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), which is part of the City&Guilds Group.
COURSE STRUCTURE:
Section 1 – Be able to conduct research in relation to leadership and management.
1.1 Undertake research in emerging themes in leadership and management using an appropriate methodology
1.2 Evaluate research outcomes and potential implications for own area of responsibility
Section 2 – Be able to think critically in relation to leadership and management
2.2 Critically review contemporary thinking in respect of leadership and management best practice
2.2 Evaluate outcomes and potential implications for own area of responsibility and professional development
DURATION
The course runs over 2 days.
The full day runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm with a break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and a short break at 11:00 am
CERTIFICATION
The Level 6 (UK) / Level 8 (IRL) Unit Certificate is awarded by the ILM/City&Guilds on completion of a structured critical reading/thinking and research project.
The project can be related to your own organisation or to another one with which you are familiar.
