MSc in Multimedia in DCU is the integration of various types of media; sound, imaging, video and animation into a new digital format. It is a one-year full-time programme with the thesis group project having to be completed between May and August. It is a taught course with a focus on the authoring, design and publishing of digital content products and services.
The MA/MSc in Interactive Multimedia in UL is a 12-month intensive course that is designed specifically for art and design graduates who are interested in pursuing studies which combine technological competence with artistic endeavour.
The MA/Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Media at NUIG provides advanced creative and technical education in digital media. Students are given practical training across a range of digital media practices, including Emerging Web Media, E-Learning, and 3D Modelling, whilst also developing their creative, critical and entrepreneurial skills within small-group classes.
There is plenty of choice in this area with other well known colleges such as Griffith College, Trinity College and DIT providing postgraduate options in this field."
