Students will also have the option to progress to further or higher education within the National Framework of Qualifications.

Entry Requirements
- Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate or equivalent education/experience.
- Access to a computer/laptop/tablet with internet and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic computer literacy (emails, uploading documents, Moodle use).
- For non-native English speakers: IELTS 5.5 (or equivalent) required.
- Recognition of prior learning is permitted, but modules must have been completed within the last five years.
Continuous Assessment
Assessment is based on written assignments and practical tasks.
Work Placement
160 hours of work experience in a suitable healthcare setting (nursing home, hospital, or day service).
Learners may need manual handling and basic first aid/cardiac responder training prior to placement.
Garda Vetting is mandatory; international police clearance is required if applicable.
