COURSE CODE: CK705 Speech and Language Therapy is a clinical profession that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of communication impairments and swallowing disorders in children and adults. The knowledge base for professionals in this field is drawn from the Medical and Health Sciences, Linguistics and Psychology. A significant part of the students‚Äô learning experience in this Department at UCC is in Problem-Based Learning (PBL) tutorials, supplemented with lectures.
