The Advanced Beauty Therapy course at Dunboyne College of Further Education offers highly specialised treatments such as Facial and Body Electrics. This beauty course is ideal for students who wish to advance their current beauty qualifications and further their career within the Beauty Industry. We offer students an ideal opportunity to train to the highest standard for QQI Level 6 Beauty Therapy Award and also ITEC Diplomas. While studying on the Advanced Beauty Therapy course, students gain experience in both theoretical and practical work. Students participate in work experience where they gain valuable insights into a career within a beauty salon or spa, or in a specialised skin or body care centre. As you will also work to achieve ITEC diplomas it will give you the opportunity to travel and work on cruise ships such as Steiner. Having a full QQI Level 6 qualification also allows you to access many higher education courses around the country. Modules include: Body and Beauty Science, Work Experience, Communications, Nail Technology, Indian Head Massage, Facial electrics and Body Electrics to include; Galvanism, Microcurrent, Vacuum Suction and Faradism.
