Course description
This practically based Access Control course is designed to give participants a practical knowledge of the operation and installation of Access Control systems at a foundation level.
Access Control Content includes: – Understanding the fundamental elements that make up an Access Control System, Fitting the principal components of stand-alone and networked systems, Connecting and programming a card, keypad and proximity stand alone system, Effectively connecting up, testing and fault-find Access Control system elements, Awareness of the issues associated with Access Control Systems and how changing technology impacts the industry.
This course can be used as one of the units required to achieve the FETAC Level 5 Award – Intruder Alarm and Access Control with Hi-Tech Training
