Pay in Full – €695
Pay in Instalments – 12 monthly payments of €61.18

Aims
This QQI Level 5 & 6 Combined Special Needs Assistant Course is designed to meet the training needs of those working or volunteering as a Special Needs Assistant. The course aims to develop skills, knowledge, and understanding of the role of the Special Needs Assistant and promote good practice among those working in the school system.

Entry Requirements

• Minimum age: 17 years
• Good standard of English
• At least 3 passes at Junior Certificate or equivalent for full-time employment in schools
• Applicants not already working in the area must indicate how they will obtain work experience

Assessment/Examinations
Continuous assessment

Work Experience
Students are required to complete 40 hours of work experience during the course if they are not already working in the area. Students must secure their own placement.
