OVERVIEW

This course provides a foundational understanding of the origins and evolution of Agenda 21 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). You will explore key principles, the interconnectedness of environmental, social, and economic sustainability, and the roles of various stakeholders in achieving a sustainable future.

COURSE DELIVERY

This is an online self-paced course that you complete in your own time.

The course is easy to follow and is designed for people who are complete beginners to Agenda 21 and SDGs.

This is not a tutor-delivered course.

ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATION

At the end of each module you are given a quiz with 3-4 short easy multiple-choice questions – from which you select your answer.

If you get the answer wrong, you can take the quiz again.

When you get to the end of the course you are now eligible for the Level 5 (IRL) Unit Certificate in Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) accredited and awarded by the Awarding Body for Sustainable Development (ABSD Awards).

Note – you do not need to complete any additional coursework other than the module quizzes to gain this qualification.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Barony – was founded in 1993, and provides a range of training courses and qualifications in Ireland, the UK and internationally.

ABSD Awards – Awarding Body for Sustainable Development – is an accreditation / awarding body based in London which offers its qualifications internationally in a wide range of subjects from Level 4 (IRL) to Level 9 (IRL) – as well as offering progression to Masters Degrees with universities.
