Essentials of Change Management

Essentials of Change Management is a one-day, highly interactive and practical workshop, blending change management tools and techniques with real-world cases and participants own projects to ensure every participant – whether managing or leading change – leaves with immediately applicable learning.

Participants will be invited to complete a brief pre-course survey to help shape the day’s examples. Participants will also receive a digital template workbook they can deploy on current projects.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the programme participants will be able to:

• Differentiate Change Management from other disciplines and make the case for change management on their projects.
• Describe leading frameworks, models and approaches to managing change (CMBoK, ADKAR, Kotter 8‑Accelerators).
• Assess their stakeholder landscape, measure change readiness and impact and assess people side risk.
• Build a practical change management plan (scope, communications, metrics).

Essentials of Change Management is a one day interactive workshop (9.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.) that will be delivered in person at the IPA and facilitated by a subject matter expert.
