ART and DESIGN (5M1984)
This course is fundamentally designed to provide students with a portfolio of the highest quality that will attain entry to Art and Design courses at third level.
Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Combined Materials, Design Skills, Communications, Work Experience and Ceramics
This one year Art and Design course gives students an opportunity to develop and explore their creativity using different aspects of Art, Craft and Design. One of the prime objectives of the course is to assemble a portfolio of high quality work, which may afford the student entrance to a course in any art college within the EU. Students may also look for employment in the following areas:
• All aspects of fine art • Animation • Computer Graphics • Film Making • Ceramics • Fashion Design • Graphic Design • Advertising • Model Making for the Film Industry.
Successful Participants have the opportunity to progress to further education in the field of Art, Craft and Design.
