VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing

The AB Academy Junior Stylist Course, accredited by VTCT and delivered by AB Academy, is an advanced 9-month program designed for beginners, apprentices, junior stylists, and those returning to the industry with 3-4 years of salon experience seeking to advance their skills. This comprehensive course will challenge you to reach your full potential in hairdressing. Upon passing your exams, you will receive both the AB Academy Junior Stylist Diploma and the VTCT Level 3 Diploma, which are recognized worldwide.

Course Format: The course includes both practical and theoretical components, with assessments conducted by in-house and external evaluators every 6–8 weeks. All sections must be completed to advance, and theory exams are held twice a year as multiple-choice tests.

Course Contents

• Section 1: Shampooing, consultations, health & safety, colour rinsing & toning
• Section 2: Colour correction, tinting, T-bar meche, partial meche, full head meche, balayage colour
• Section 3: Long cuts, bob cuts, short cuts, layered cuts, setting, plaiting, and dressing hair
