Course Description
The Acupuncture and TCM professional qualification is the Licentiate in TCM (Lic.TCM). This includes a western medicine module.
Successful completion of this course leads to attainment of the Licentiate which is recognised by the Professional Register of Traditional Chinese Medicine (PRTCM) – the first regulatory body of Acupuncture and TCM in Ireland. Members of the PRTCM are recognised as Acupuncturists in Ireland by VHI, Aviva, Quinn Health etc, for the provision of Acupuncture treatments under their insurance policies.
The course is comprehensive and and thorough and is offered in a way that enables training to be accessible to people who are currently working full time in either another career or in the home.
Attendance is only at weekends – approxiamtely one every three or four weeks – and on line teaching materials are provided to facilitate our adult learners.
