Most people who take this course wish to enhance their skills in delivering courses to colleagues ‘in-house’, or similar situations, and the course does not lead to a recognised qualification. Rather, it is often taken as part of ongoing development.

Course description

Whether you are preparing to be a professional trainer, or you are someone who does a bit of training as a part of their job, you’ll want to be prepared for the training that you do. This workshop will give all types of trainer’s tools to help them create and deliver engaging, compelling workshops that will encourage trainees to come back for more.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

·     Define training, facilitating, and presenting

·     Understand how to identify participants’ training needs

·     Create a lesson plan that incorporates the range of learning preferences

·     Create an active, engaging learning environment

·     Develop visual aids and supporting materials

·     Manage difficult participants and tough topics

CERTIFICATE

On completion of the course, you gain the Level 6 (IRL) Unit Certificate in Train The Trainer from ABSD – Awarding Body for Sustainable Development.

ABSD – Awarding Body for Sustainable Development:

This is a UK-based international awarding body providing qualifications from Level 5 (IRL) to Level 9 (IRL) centred on sustainable development.
