What will I Study?
This  Special Needs Assisting qualification is the ideal route to employment in a supporting role in schools as a  classroom assistant. You will gain the skills you need to begin working in schools and develops an understanding of the legislation, relationships and developmental techniques that are required for this role.

Entry Requirements & Work Experience
  • A minimum of 20 hours mandatory work experience in a special needs context, is to be completed during the module.
  • All learners are assessed prior to admission on this course.

Progression
On completion of this Special Needs Assisting Level 6 Course, the learner will have achieved one of eight modules which lead to a Major Award in Early Childhood Care & Education Level 6.
