Online Italian Class

At Avanti, we offer semi-private and private online lessons for French, German, Italian, Japanese* or Spanish learners.

Who can join?
Anyone who would like to learn French, German, Italian, Japanese or Spanish. For children aged under 12, parents can consult us regarding the suitability of the classes.

Online lessons are a perfect way to develop new language skills, learn more about other countries and cultures, and get to know new people! Now that more people are staying at home, working from home or are having a longer holiday period, there is no better time to broaden your horizons by communicating in a foreign language.

Teachers
All our teachers are well qualified, experienced graduates and are native speakers of the language they teach. They are friendly, attentive and professional and they will help you acquire new language skills in the most effective way. Not only will you improve your language skills, you will also learn a lot about their culture.

Course materials
Our teachers are very experienced at effectively combining materials to suit each student’s requirements, including core textbooks and a wide range of supplementary materials.

Prices
€60 Registration fee
1-to-1 Private lessons from €50 per hour
2-to-1 Semi-Private lessons from €25 per hour per person

* Price per hour may differ depending on the course (i.e. Exam Preparation, Conversation, etc.)
* Lessons are to be booked in blocks of 5, 10, 15 lessons.

What do I need for the lessons?
A laptop / tablet / desktop computer / smart phone and a good wi-fi connection. All course materials are provided by the school.

Which platform do the lessons take place on?
Normally on Zoom but Italian lessons take place on Google Classroom. You do not need to download the app but there is no harm in having the Zoom app on your computer or phone.

Do I need to buy the textbook?
All our teachers provide materials so there is no need for you to buy a textbook. However, in some classes textbooks are recommended and your teacher will talk to you at your first lesson.

Avanti Certificate of Attendance by PDF is available on request.

Social Programme
Online students are welcome to join Avanti’s Social Activities Programme and mix with students who attend our classroom courses at Avanti. You may be able to meet international students with whom you can practise the language you are studying!
