Course Description
Course Overview: The syllabus for each of the advanced modules anticipates that the candidate has already mastered the Skills Sets and acquired the knowledge outlined in the core level syllabus. Advanced Presentations: This module requires the candidate to understand and apply the principal consideration in planning a presentation. Outputs utilising advanced formatting and layout techniques are required, along with the use of multimedia effects. The candidate will create advanced charts and graphs, and enhance the presentation using drawing and image tools.
Section 1 Introduction to the course Discussion of needs Section 2 Theories of audience environment and assimilation and presenter delivery Setup of presentations using slide master formatting options Inserting images, backgrounds, fill effects to some/all slides using slide masters Omitting of images from slides Merging text or an existing presentations to a new presentation Save slide as image Section 3 Images: Positioning, linking, semi transparency, 3D effects, shadows, convert to drawn object, animating, grouping, bring forward, send to back, distribute images using defined co-ordinates, horizontally/vertically, rotate, flip, crop, rescale, coloration, effects, saves as alternative image format Use secondary image editing application Formatting drawn objects Copying and applying styles
Advanced Databases: This module requires the candidate to use the database to organise, extract, view and report on data using advanced data management skills.
The candidate will understand the variery of ways that data can be related and organised, and to import, export and link data.
