Course description
This 5 week introductory Creative Writing course will help you to put pen to paper or finger to keyboard by encouraging you to explore your ideas and stimulate your imagination.
Students will work on short exercises during the class which will get you writing – photographs, opening lines, newspaper articles, dialogue and memories. This will help you to discover where you might get your creative ideas for any genre of writing such as fiction, poetry or playwriting.
Participants will also look at some useful elements such as finding your voice, structure, characters, dialogue and tension and will discuss useful tips that will help you to improve your writing practice in a way that works for you.
Distance Learning and Online Courses are offered in a number of different formats, these include correspondence courses (by post), online via computer or a combination of online and classroom instruction (blended learning).. View
