CAD is a training programme designed to enable people with disabilities or those out of work due to illness, injury or learning difficulty to build careers as participants in the creative, engineering or architectural sectors. The programme provides individualised training focusing on the specific career and educational goals of each learner. The course has been specifically developed to assist participants in progressing onto further training and education in this field, or in gaining employment in diverse creative, engineering or architectural industries.

Duration Up to 2 years, Modules include ECDL CAD, Communications, Work Experience, Computer Aided Draughting (2D), Design Skills, Safety and Health at Work, Architectural Drawing, Drawing, Desktop Publishing.
Certification
QQI Major Award. Award in Computer Aided Design 5M1940 CAD, ECDL CAD and Safe Pass
