Course description

This level 6 fashion course is offered to students who complete QQI Level 5 Fashion Design. It allows the learner to advance their design, technical and creative skills. It gives the learner a stronger understanding of the fashion industry and provides them with the skills to succeed in the world of fashion. QQI Level 6 fashion has a greater emphasis on sewing and pattern making to facilitate learners who wish to establish their own business or label.

Entry Requirements

QQI Level 5 Course in Fashion Design or equivalent. Applicants must also complete a successful interview and provide a portfolio or samples of their work.

Progression & Career Options

Entry to Third Level Art & Design courses is possible through presentation of portfolio. Students may progress to a range of related degree courses in Universities and Institutes of Technology.
