Course Overview: Adobe Illustrator is the industry standard vector-based illustrating. It is used by graphic designers throughout the world to create a vast variety of different media including illustrations, package designs, leaflets and flyers, web graphics and animations, notice boards, billboards, and many other graphic objects. Mastering the basics then means you’ll be able to produce an almost endless scope of graphic designs. Adobe Illustrator adds some great new features that beginners can start using straight away such as Control palette, Adobe Bridge, Live Trace and expanded export options.
Pre-requirements: No previous knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is required.
Participants Study: Contacts Email Tasks Calendar Creating Folders Customising views Outlook Today By the end of this two day course, you will have learnt about the key Adobe Illustrator features and tools that you need to begin designing attractive graphic designs and art work.
Day1 will help you harness the enormous power of drawing with Illustrator. You will learn to create drawings from scratch and clean up illustrations and clipart. We will use the type tools to create text objects and the transform tools to modify objects. You will be able to create simple drawings and learn how to save and export them for use in other programs.
Day 2 will build upon the knowledge planted in Day I. We will use the Effects and Filters and how they differ, and also the Appearance Palette to save a Graphic Style. We will draw and understand Bezier curves, the root of drawing in Illustrator. Other topics include, Layers, new type features to CS, Transparency, the new 3-D tool, Symbols and many more exciting new features to CS.
