Operating under the Mayo, Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB), Mayo College of Further Education and Training is a leading provider of Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) and pre-university courses in the west of Ireland. Established in 2021 following the merger of Castlebar College of Further Education and Westport College of Further Education, the college now operates across three main campuses in Ballina, Castlebar, and Westport. Mayo College of FET offers a comprehensive suite of QQI Level 5 and Level 6 programmes across a diverse range of disciplines, including healthcare, nursing, business, IT, beauty therapy, agriculture, and the creative arts. The college also facilitates apprenticeships and part-time courses designed to meet local and national industry demands.
