View Courses and information for Dunboyne College of Further Education

Dunboyne College of Further Education serves the counties of Meath, Dublin and Kildare and also the wider east Leinster area. All courses are certified by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and offer outstanding progression opportunities. The courses are developed and updated in consultation with prospective employers and third level institutes to ensure that they are relevant to our students’ educational needs and the skills required by prospective employers.

The qualifications obtained from all the programmes in Dunboyne College of Further Education provide students with the opportunity to progress to further studies at third level. The college has developed close links with Maynooth University, Dublin City University (DCU), UCD, DIT and the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (now both part of TU Dublin), Trinity College Dublin, and Dundalk Institute of Technology, as well as many other institutions.

Additional courses have recently been added in the areas of Occupational Therapy, Software Development and Games Design, Banking, Insurance and Financial Services. These brand new offerings join the very successful launch in 2020 of: Forensic Science, Environmental Science, Criminology and Psychology, Youth and Community Work, Pre-Paramedic Fire and Ambulance, Architectural Technology and Design, Physiotherapy Studies, Office Accounts, Administration and Information Processing, Business and Accounting, Animation and Journalism, Digital Media and Public Relations. These new courses are part of over 50 courses in the Healthcare, Science, Arts, Business, Computer and Service areas, that make up six departments at the college.

Over the years graduates from long developed programmes in Nursing Studies, Applied Social Studies, Business, Pre-Arts, Pre-Science and Law courses have been very successful in securing places in employment and in the third level sector.
