    Autumn Part Time and Evening Courses

    2020 has provided plenty of challenges for educators and students alike. This September will see a return of the Autumn schedule of evening and part time courses around the country; but with a difference. Many colleges will see reduced class sizes for those courses going ahead. Other courses will be offered as live online classes, whilst others will take a blended learning approach, offering reduced class time with the remainder offered through distance learning, either pre-prepared or live via software such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or similar. Whatever the method, there are still a wide range of options out there for those seeking part time learning options this Autumn. Some of these are outlined below..

    Communications and Management Institute (CMI) traditionally offer classroom based evening courses in Dublin. The college is instead holding most courses on a live online basis this autumn. To view the courses on offer from the college view the CMI Findacourse.ie course listings page.

    NUI Galway Adult Education Department offer an extensive range of Professional, Part-time and Evening courses for those hoping to up-skill for employment or for their own personal development. These flexible courses allow you to study at your own pace in a wide range of subject areas. Semester 1 teaching in 2020/21 will take place in a fully online mode.     Dorset College offer a wide range of part time weekend and evening courses starting this September and October. Courses are QQI certified and in the fields of Business, Management, Computers, Childcare and Healthcare. More information can be viewed on the Dorset College Course Listings Page.

    Moate Business College in Westmeath offer a wide range of evening adult education classes, covering a wide variety of subject areas.     Malahide Community School are continuing to offer a wide selection of interesting and rewarding adult education classes. This year courses are being offered through one or a combination of the following formats. Face to Face in class (reduced class size), Blended learning via mix of Google Meet & reduced size classes, Live Online via Zoom classes.     Dunboyne College of Further Education in Meath are running an Enrolment Night at the college Tuesday 15th September 2020, 6.00 – 8.00pm. Courses Begin Tuesday 22nd September 2020. More information available on their website at www.dunboynecollege.ie

    Athlone Institute of Technology, AIT offer a large range of QQI accredited part time evening courses. More information available on their part time courses page of the  AIT Website.

    Carlow Institute of Further Education provides part-time education, business and commercial training services and hobby and leisure courses. More info on their website at www.carlowife.ie

    Drogheda Institute of Technology offer a range of night classes now with reduced class sizes to ensure social distancing and with some online options available. More information at www.dife.info

    Ó Fiaich Night Classes programme for Autumn 2020 in Louth – Enrolment at Ó Fiaich Institute:  Monday, 7th and Tuesday, 8th September, 10 am – 3 pm. Classes Commence: Week starting Monday, 21st September. More information at www.louthnightclasses.ie

    University College Cork offers adult education programmes to Cork and the greater Munster area. The wide selection of courses across numerous fields of study commence in September. More information can be found on their adult education website at UCC.ie

    Courses at Limerick College of Further Education commence the week beginning Monday 5th October 2020. Enrolments can be completed online on the LCFE website and following the simple step by step registration process. Enrolment will also take place at the College during September/October – Office Hours – Weekdays only.
