    Generation Apprenticeship Schools and Centres Competition 2021 is now live and open to applicants. The 2021 competition aims to raise awareness and help second level learners visualise how they can combine future careers through apprenticeship with their commitment to green values and sustainable futures.
    Winners will receive a €1,000 cash prize, a series of runner up awards including the chance to have your work displayed on billboard posters and as part of a campaign promoting Generation Apprenticeship and €3,000 Apprenticeship Incentivisation Scheme.

    Competition Brief
    This competition is free to enter and open to all second level schools and centres. Learners, as teams or as individuals can choose between two challenges:

    Challenge 1 (create a physical A)

    Challenge 2 (create a virtual A using a digital format)

    • Challenge 1: Use material destined for landfill to build an A letter not bigger or wider than 450mm. The A can be any colour or combination of colours. The A must communicate core messages about apprenticeship in Ireland and how subsequent careers are crucial in tackling climate change. Please complete this short application form to enter.     • Challenge 2: This new competition category invites teams/individual learners to create a digital version of the letter A image. You may wish to use everyday objects at home or in the school/centre. Please complete this short application form to enter. Applications should be submitted by email to [email protected].

    Deadline for submission of entry forms: Wednesday 16 December 2020.

    The closing date for competition entries: Friday 26 March 2021.
