This course is designed to provide qualified health fitness instructors and personal trainers with the knowledge and skills to enable them to prescribe safe, effective and appropriate training methods using a suspension training system.
Following successful completion of this course, learners will be qualified and able to:
Correctly set up the suspension training equipment
Integrate and embrace the principles of suspension training
Plan and design effective training programmes for mixed fitness levels specific to the goals of the participants
Explain the benefits of suspension training Incorporate the suspension training equipment as an efficient and effective training tool to enhance sports, strength and conditioning performance.
The National Qualification in Suspension Training is open to application from all professionals who hold a recognised, valid and current primary fitness instructor qualification which is accredited or mapped at EQF Level 3 or higher.
Not all primary fitness instructor qualifications meet the minimum standard required. If your primary fitness instructor qualification does not meet the requirements NTC will be unable to award a certificate for this programme even if you have completed it so if you are in any doubt whether your qualification meets the requirements please submit a copy of your primary fitness instructor qualification at least two weeks prior to the start date or contact the NTC prior to enrollment.
