CAO CODE: MH109 Engagement with the media ‚Äì television, film and radio in particular ‚Äì is one of the defining features of life in the twenty-first century. This degree allows students to prepare for a career in the exciting and rapidly-changing world of media by means of an integrated course of study, which combines hands-on, practical training in television and radio production with academic courses in areas such as the sociological and cultural analyses of media and film history. Part of the programme is delivered by Kairos Communications which is a leading independent television and radio production company. Students will take Media Studies as a part of an Arts degree, combining Media Studies with two other subjects in First Year, and one other subject in Second and Third Years.
