This one day Health and Safety Legislation course has been designed to suit any professional in any industry. Health and Safety Legislation and compliance with same is an essential element of Facility Operations and Facility Management.
The background to Health and Safety Legislation in Ireland and compliance with the law within a facility will be explored in this course. From primary legislation to secondary legislation, codes of practice, standards and business norms and EU directives, this course will afford learners the perfect opportunity to enhance their knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety Authority (HSA) Guidelines.
The primary and secondary legislation covered in this workshop includes the following- Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations, 2006 Safety Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations, 2007 Qualifications gained Certificate of Attendance Entry requirements Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.
