Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Games Developments
You will be involved in the whole process from the identification of an idea for a game, the design of the game through to the implementation and delivery of a complete product. As well as giving you the strong computing foundation needed to build a game, there will also be a significant focus on the creative aspects of games' design and development. The degree should enable you to develop advanced problem solving and computer programming skills and acquire in-depth knowledge of current and emerging games development methodologies as well as software engineering techniques and processes. There will be an emphasis on teamwork and, as a graduate, you should be capable of working as part of a multi-disciplinary development team in the games and software industry employing modern software engineering principles.

A minimum of Grade B3 in Ordinary Level Mathematics and at least Grade C3 in two subjects at Higher (or Common) Level, together with Grade D3 in four subjects at Ordinary Level of the Leaving Certificate examination plus a minimum of 300 points. These subjects must include English or Irish.
A level qualifications which are equivalent to the above, with either Grade E or higher in A Level Mathematics or a grade A in GCSE Level Mathematics.
