Train the trainer course for teaching

Hello, I have a degree in nursing and a postgrad in gerontology along with several years job experience in nursing. Am hoping to get into teaching as a pre-nursing course instructor. I am wondering if a fetac level 6 train the trainer course would be sufficient to apply for teaching positions or if there is anything else I need?

Hi, I think that most pre-nursing courses are run by further education institutes. These institutes are required to employ tutors registered with the teaching council, so you would most probably need to register. You may have everything you need to do so, you can check out more details at http://www.teachingcouncil.ie/registration/overview.770.html

Good luck!
