Course code: WD134 What is International Business? International business involves international trade and investment, for example, importing and exporting products and services and investing in a business in another country. An important element of international business is an ability to interact with people from other cultures and countries. What is the BA (Hons) in International Business course? The BA (Hons) in International Business is a three year course that prepares students to work in an international and inter-cultural context. In Year 3, semester five of the Programme, the student will be required to study abroad in one of WIT’s partner institutions, in the USA, Canada or a European country, for example, France, Germany or The Netherlands. Foreign study will give the students the opportunity to experience the life, culture and academic environment of a foreign country. It is anticipated that classes while abroad will be in English, irrespective of the country involved.
