Tourism Studies

Tourism is the worlds largest industry and plays a significant role in providing employment and income in most modern economies.  Ireland is no exception and has seen a dramatic rise in employment opportunities in this sector in recent years. In addition, the emergence of low cost airline carriers, the rise of budget hotels and the ease of booking on the internet, have created interesting challenges and opportunities for the Tourism industry.

Entry Requirements

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. Acceptance to Full Time courses is interview based, there are no specific points requirements.

This is a full time course. Final examinations will be held during the first 2 weeks of June – these dates will be confirmed during March 2012.
