Price: -
Duration: 3 Years
CAO and Third Level

Course description

Renewable Energy (RE) has seen rapid development in the last 5 years world-wide, especially in the area of wind turbines and small scale domestic systems. An expanding market needs professional graduates with the necessary skills to grow the market further. This programme aims to train you in all aspects of RE, particularly in the area of wind, and also in electrical systems used to connect them to electricity grids such as ESB. This is the only programme of its kind in Ireland.
Direct entry is possible to Year 2 for suitably qualified Phase 6 Electricians. As the programme is varied, the jobs market will provide a wide range of opportunities; such as design, installation, expansion and maintenance of RE systems, wind, solar and hydro.
