The weekly course will take place over 1 weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and 4x Wednesday and Thursday:
September 28th, 29th, 30th, October 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th. November 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd.
This qualification is aimed at students wishing to become a Personal Trainer, and already hold or are working towards the pre-requisite of L2 (EQF L3) fitness instruction.
During this course you will acquire the skills, knowledge and competence required to offer one-to-one training, fitness assessment, nutritional advice and progressive programming which is specific to the individual needs of a client. This Personal Training Course will enable successful candidates to work with a wide range of customers from basic gym inductions through to professional athletes. You will learn how to design, manage and adapt a gym based personal training programme with a range of clients, how to communicate with clients effectively and motivate clients to adhere to exercise programmes and learn how to apply the principles of nutrition to support client goals as part of an exercise and physical activity programme.
