The course is a 20 week, 6 month programme which will commence Tuesday October 9th 2018 from 18.30-21.30. Classes are held once a week from 18.30-21.30 in our school on 34-35 South William Street Dublin 2. The programme is also offered by online learning.
Several good reasons to choose this course over any others:
- The British Safety Council (BSC) is the world’s leading advocate of workplace health and safety and an educational council with international status. BSC awards are government-regulated by Ofqual and are therefore recognised on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) to a particular level.
- The Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health is recognised by Ofqual to level 3 (UK) which is similar to level 5 in the Republic of Ireland. That means your qualification is transferable internationally and recognised by universities should you wish to progress.
- The Certificate course is recognised by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as meeting the requirements for technician membership of the Institution (Tech IOSH). Holders of the Level 3 Certificate may also apply for associate membership of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
- If you do not have any prior health and safety experience or have never done a health and safety course, it would be recommended you start with the Certificate before progressing to do the Diploma.
