Relationships are built on understanding between people. Positive relationships, based on trust, help create high performing teams and cultures. Relationships based on open, honest communication enable a focus on a common purpose. Open, honest engagement supports effective problem solving and builds resilience at the individual and collective level to meet organisational challenges more effectively.
There is a clear business imperative to think about the quality of our conversations, how often and the types of conversations we have as these exchanges are central to how we build relationships.
