Course description
The Dyslexia Awareness distance learning course will enable you to learn more about how to tell if someone has dyslexia, the learning and emotional effects of Dyslexia as well as effective strategies for Dyslexia in the classroom. Dyslexia is a specific learning difficulty which makes it difficult for some children to learn to read, write and spell correctly. A child can become frustrated by these difficulties and over time may also show signs of low self-esteem and behavioural problems at home and school. In addition, the child may also become unmotivated and develop a dislike for school which can impact on the child’s overall success in school.
