Course description

People with strong book-keeping skills are always in demand. This course is designed to give you an advantage over others with less experience, teaching you double-entry book-keeping.
Our book-keeping training is covered by eight lessons, unlike some book-keeping courses, and our flexible, self-study methods mean you’re in charge of your progress. But for those tricky moments, there’s always a course advisor to turn to for one-on-one help.
The course covers, among many other aspects of manual book-keeping, the double entry system, the basics of VAT, checking invoices for accuracy, general ledger and sales ledger, petty cash books and balancing ledger accounts. The book-keeping course also provides you with a handy workbook as a reference guide.
If you’re after a career in book-keeping then you may also like to consider Modules 2 and 3 of our book-keeping course or our Foundation in Book-Keeping diploma, which is highly respected by employers and will help take your career to the next level.
