Course description

This practical course gives students the chance to add to their portfolio of Journalism items by giving the students the opportunity to bring their skills and knowledge to the production of digital items such as blogs and podcasts.  Students will also work on managing and operating DFEi\’s very own news radio station.

Entry Requirements
One of the following:

Level 5 QQI Award in Journalism or equivalent
Degree Graduates
Applications are welcome from students with relevant experience in this area

Collaborative team-working is a key feature of this course.  Students will have the opportunity to work in teams by researching and writing content for online publication, and in the design, management and operation of the DFEi radio and online news, service, \’The Wave\’.
