Institute of Technology, Sligo

The Institute of Technology, Sligo is a higher education institution that plays a central role in the socio-economic development of the North-West region.
The Institute provides a range of third level programmes in Science, Engineering and Business and Humanities through undergraduate level to Masters and PhD. A number of apprenticeship programmes are delivered in a dedicated engineering facility.
The majority of full-time programmes at IT Sligo can be accessed on a part-time basis, and many are available in distance-learning mode. In addition, a range of accredited lifelong learning programmes are delivered. We have a track record and reputation for delivering tailored programmes for industry and collaborative partnerships. Economic development is directly supported by a range of research and innovation services including: enterprise training; business incubation space; mentoring and networking; applied research and access to expertise, knowledge and equipment.
IT Sligo has a community of almost 500 staff and 4600 students. Our campus currently extends to 70 acres with 30,000m2 of buildings.
